We have news on five competitons that our first team will participate in during this forthcoming season including the FA Cup and the FA Vase draws.
After finishing 4th last season, Southend Manor have been rewarded with a bye in the first two qualifying rounds of the FA Vase. They enter the competition at the first round proper stage in October with a visit to fellow ESL side Enfield 1893.
In the FA Cup extra Prelim round, Manor visit Hatfield Town (Spartan South Midlands) on Saturday 15th August. The winners will face Arseley Town away two weeks later.
In the Essex Senior league, the inclusion of Tiptree Utd, Witham Town and Bethnal Green Utd sees the league boast an 18 team constitution for the 2009/10 campaign, this is largest that the league has ever been. This seasons opening round of games is on Saturday 8th August.
In the League Cup, Manor have been placed in group F with Bethnal Green Utd and Barking, whilst in the Gordon Brasted Trophy, Manor host Enfield 1893.
